This policy describes the personal information collected through monthly-hotels.com (the "Site"), which is operated by monthly-hotels.com ("we", "us"), how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the Site you acknowledge this policy.

1. Who this applies to

The Site connects three groups: guests who send stay requests, hotels that list monthly rates, and visitors who contact us. This policy applies to all three. Hotel staff who sign in to manage a listing are referred to as hotel users.

2. Information we collect

Guests. When you submit a stay request we collect your name, email address, phone number, check-in date, length of stay, number of guests, whether you travel with a pet, your budget, and any note you write.

Hotels. When a hotel submits a listing or is added by us, we collect the hotel name, city, address, website, contact email and phone number, rates, and listing details such as amenities and policies.

Contact messages. When you write to us we collect your name, email address, and message.

Accounts. If you create an account, we collect your email address and the sign-in details needed to run the account.

Usage data. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how the Site is used, such as pages viewed and whether a stay request was sent. Without your consent we do not set analytics cookies.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person. Turnstile may process technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, to make that check.

3. How we use information

We use your information to pass your stay request to the hotel you chose, to reply to you, to review and publish hotel listings, to keep accounts secure, to prevent spam and abuse, and to understand and improve the Site. If you check the box on the request form and the hotel does not answer, we may forward your request to two or three similar hotels nearby.

4. Who receives information

Hotels. A stay request, including your contact details, is shared with the hotel it is sent to, and with any additional hotels only if you ticked the box described above. A hotel sees a request only after we have reviewed it and marked it as sent.

Service providers. We use Supabase to store Site data and run sign-in, Cloudflare for spam protection and site delivery, and Google Analytics for usage statistics when you accept cookies. These providers process data for us under their own terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish your requests or contact details. We do not publish the phone numbers or email addresses of hotels from our records.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the Site and its users from abuse.

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies that are needed to run it, such as keeping you signed in. Analytics cookies are off until you select Accept in the cookie notice, and you can select No thanks to decline them. We do not use advertising cookies or ad personalization.

6. Where data is stored

Data is stored on our hosting providers' servers in the United States. If you use the Site from another country, your information is transferred to and handled in the United States.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email support@monthly-hotels.com from the address you used and we will respond within 30 days. Hotels that share your request with you have their own policies; we cannot delete data held by a hotel.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
